Ok I know I've been a very bad blogger lately..please forgive me!! How much are you loving this spread from Marie Claire's August issue? I'm obsessed with the Dolce & Gabbana look I'm a sucker for sequins! (note: I just made it the background on my computer) Fall, which is my favorite season, is on its way and I'm ready to welcome it with open arms. Yes the thought is bittersweet with winter soon to follow but let's pretend that won't happen for now. I apologize for making you think about winter in July... On a positive note, I recently celebrated my birthday with the most amazing people I know - family and friends of course! Everyone made it so perfect I couldn't have asked for more, I'm trying to take photos of my lovely gifts to share with you all so stay tuned :)

During my last shopping trip I couldn't help but notice the abundance of floral prints this season and so this spread is a perfect representation of how I felt standing in what I call the Garden Section of Forever 21. I found a great pair of peep toe pumps (featured below) in - you guessed it floral print! I would also like to add that they are sturdy thanks to the chunky heel and surprisingly comfortable, not bad for $28!

Beyoncé - dazed & confused

Fierce, stunning and scorching hot! Beyoncé for the July issue of Dazed & Confused rocking designs by Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, Stefano Pilati for YSL, Tom Ford, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton. 

Loving the retro beehive and turquoise eyeshadow, this retro glam look reminds me of her Why Don't You Love Me video, which is one of those songs you can't help but get into regardless of who's watching (i.e. sitting alone in traffic singing at the top of your lungs...true story lol)

PS I have to mention how much I love the turquoise one shoulder dress, that thigh high slit is freaking fabulous!
