zara august lookbook

Zara never disappoints and this season's lookook is everything you need and want in a fall wardrobe. There are many more looks available at their website
I've recently become obsessed with emerald green, I purchased a pair of emerald green skinny jeans at none other than Zara about a month ago and that coat in the first look is calling my name. Unfortunately, I've put myself on a strict shopping diet (3 weeks in if you can believe it) so that coat will have to wait....or perhaps I could make a small exception, coats are necessary for fall right? I mean, I don't want to get sick from the chilly weather... :)
Their TRF line has a wonderful fall lookbook as well, I'll try to post some of my favorite looks tomorrow but for now let's dream about me purchasing that lovely green coat....and the navy blazer... and black tuxedo jacket...oh and sequin dress... I think my shopping diet just ended!

luxe vs. less - glitterati

During my last trip to New York I purchased some pretty amazing Beatle inspired boots at Top Shop and couldn't help but notice all the glitter this season. As many of you already know I love to sparkle and due to my obsession with all that glitters, I believe every girl (or guy) needs a little (or a lot) sparkle in their wardrobe which brings me to this segment of LUXE vs. LESS

  Miu Miu Sneakers $450 & $585
Over the top? YES, but so necessary!

Giuseppe Zanotti Glitter Boots - $895

Top Shop Glitter Boots - $160
aka the newest addition to my shoe collection!

Alice+Olivia Gizelle Glitter Platform $295      Top Shop Gosford Glitter Mary Janes $120

And last but definitely not least Miu Miu's Glitter Finish Pumps $630....sigh

happy birthday coco chanel

Happy Birthday Coco Chanel!
In celebration of her would be 128th birthday, I've attached Coco Chanel's latest collection of nail polishes inspired by denim. Scheduled to release September 8 during this year's Fashion Night Out I recommend you get any (or all) of these true blue hues immediately! Last year's khaki collection was sold out instantly, I know this because I went to Chanel's SoHo flagship store one day after its release and couldn't get my hands on a single bottle....I'm still sad about it...true story!
Have a wonderful weekend and remember "A girl should be two things: classy & fabulous" - Coco Chanel

The subscription process is easy, fill out a questionnaire also known as your Beauty Profile about your skin care regime, what you are most interested in receiving, etc. and Loose Button customizes your Luxe Box based on your beauty needs.
Take a look at the reputable beauty brands they are working with here.

Pricing - You have the option of monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions.
1 month = $12 (free shipping)
3 months = $36 (free shipping)
12 months = $120 (free shipping)

I personally went for the quarterly membership but will definitely be switching to a yearly package once my subscription ends.

I'm sure you're all wondering what I received in my very first LUXE BOX let me show you!

Before I go into detail about each product I want to mention the simple yet chic packaging, I was hesitant to open it because I didn't want to ruin it!

JUNE LUXE BOX included;
1. China Glaze nail polish in Agent Lavender - Beautiful color for summer and great application. As a nail polish junkie I've heard of China Glaze but never gave it a chance due to my love for OPI and Essie but I will definitely purchase this product again in the future!
Overall Rating: 10/10

2. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - This product was a little messy but did leave my skin feeling smoother.
Overall Rating: 8/10

3. Elizabeth Grant Biocollasis Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense Day Serum - I didn't use this product on my face simply because age defense day serum is not something I need at the moment. However I did squeeze a little bit of the product on my hand and the texture was silky smooth and left my skin feeling hydrated.
Overall Rating: n/a

4. Consonant Organic Body Soap - This product smelled amazing from the moment I opened my Luxe Box. I also loved the packaging, it included a sweet little message and tiny loofah to rest the soap on in the shower. However after trying it I was no longer impressed, the soap just didn't make me feel clean and the amazing scent it once had disappeared once wet :(
Overall Rating: 5/10

5. Hershey Hug - who doesn't love a little chocolate treat?
Overall rating 10/10!!

I hope you enjoyed the review of my very first Luxe Box! I've already received my second and will be posting another review soon! In the meantime, order your own and let me know how it is!
