in bloom

During my last shopping trip I couldn't help but notice the abundance of floral prints this season and so this spread is a perfect representation of how I felt standing in what I call the Garden Section of Forever 21. I found a great pair of peep toe pumps (featured below) in - you guessed it floral print! I would also like to add that they are sturdy thanks to the chunky heel and surprisingly comfortable, not bad for $28!

Beyoncé - dazed & confused

Fierce, stunning and scorching hot! Beyoncé for the July issue of Dazed & Confused rocking designs by Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, Stefano Pilati for YSL, Tom Ford, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.
Loving the retro beehive and turquoise eyeshadow, this retro glam look reminds me of her Why Don't You Love Me video, which is one of those songs you can't help but get into regardless of who's watching (i.e. sitting alone in traffic singing at the top of your lungs...true story lol)
So for your own enjoyment, as well as my own, I've attached the video below. ENJOY!

PS I have to mention how much I love the turquoise one shoulder dress, that thigh high slit is freaking fabulous!

shock value

Color blocking and shocking hues are all the rage this season and us girls are not the only ones experimenting with bright colors and bold prints. These men demonstrate that pairing unexpected pops of color and prints can make a killer outfit.

tease boutique

With summer finally among us I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to let you know about an amazing new boutique for all you summer shopping!

I recently interviewed co-owners of Tease Boutique, Steph Paris Berks and Carmen Strather about their new boutique located in sunny San Diego, California. These lovely ladies were kind enough to share their trend forecasts for the season as well as their personal summer MUST HAVES!

1. Who is the Tease girl?
The typical Tease girl is a feminine, fun-loving, flirty girl, She either knows good style or knows that we know good style. She should be confident and feel sexy in whatever she wears. We want to attract any type of woman and have clothing suitable for any and every occasion. From vintage graphic tshirts, sequin leggings, flowy tops, rompers & evening dresses, with a splash of accessories and a jeans & sunglass bar, shopping at Tease will be an experience most shoppers look forward to having. Our store is formatted to make shopping an interactive, exciting experience for those who want to shop, not just need to shop.

2. What type of clothing can we find at the boutique?
We have tons of lines at our store.
You can sneak a peak from our website

3. Favorite item you are currently carrying at your boutique?
SPB: My favorite items are any of the sunglasses. I’ve been a collector for years and a friend of Corey Shapiro's for years so mixing those two and having a Vintage Frames Company sunglass bar is not only a worldly first (which I think is rad) but also means a lot to me personally.

Carmen: Wildfox – favorite designer and is also our featured designer this
month!

4. Top 3 items to purchase this summer?
1. Jean shorts, we are carrying shorts from Blank, Jbrand, Paige and Joe's
2. Luv U Always sequin mini skirt
3. Any of our adorable rompers, we have about 12 to choose from!
4. Loose fitting tank top from Rebel Yell
5. Oh, and of course, a pair of sunnies!
Picking 3 things is almost impossible since everything we have is to die for!

Enter to win a gift from Tease Boutique's featured designer of the month CC Skye!

During a recent shopping trip I spotted these wonderfully amazing and crazy Jeffrey Campbell Riddle Paint wedges! Want them. Need them. Got to have them immediately!!! Anyways, I exercised some self control and postponed my purchase. However while searching for my new obsession online I came across another pair of amazing splatter paint heels below. Gorgeous right? They're sold out everywhere but I must point out that they look very similar to the Alexander Wang Dakota lace-up booties that I've drooled over many many times online AND in person.
