With the holidays around the corner, designer nail polishes make a great gift for the fierce fashionista in your life. This matte and glossy polish set inspired by "Le Smoking" tuxedo jacket retails for $30 US.
Hello my lovely style strutters! I have some wonderful beauty finds to share with you all. I spent last weekend in Vermont at my good friends' cottage (thanks again Charles and Lily!!) for some relaxing outdoorsy girl time. Although it was truly relaxing an unexpected companion popped up during my weekend getaway, a major frenemy also known as a pimple - cue dramatic music! Thus bringing me to my latest discovery Clinique's Acne Solutions Spot Treatment Gel. This product works wonders, simply dab a small amount of the clear gel twice a day and within a few days POOF that thing has disappeared allowing you to get back to canooing, sitting outside under the hot sun or enjoying a tub of Ben & Jerry's Red Velvet ice cream! Yes, you read that correctly Ben & Jerry's makes red velvet ice cream MMMmmmmmmm
Another great beauty find is Clinique's Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticle Cream. This moisturizer leaves your hands silky smooth without that unnecessary residue. I've attached one of the few photos I took over the weekend, as you can see I managed to capture truly important moments i.e. discovering this deliciously satisfying midnight snack.
In celebration of her would be 128th birthday, I've attached Coco Chanel's latest collection of nail polishes inspired by denim. Scheduled to release September 8 during this year's Fashion Night Out I recommend you get any (or all) of these true blue hues immediately! Last year's khaki collection was sold out instantly, I know this because I went to Chanel's SoHo flagship store one day after its release and couldn't get my hands on a single bottle....I'm still sad about it...true story!
Have a wonderful weekend and remember "A girl should be two things: classy & fabulous" - Coco Chanel

I'm sure you're all wondering what I received in my very first LUXE BOX let me show you!
Before I go into detail about each product I want to mention the simple yet chic packaging, I was hesitant to open it because I didn't want to ruin it!
JUNE LUXE BOX included;
1. China Glaze nail polish in Agent Lavender - Beautiful color for summer and great application. As a nail polish junkie I've heard of China Glaze but never gave it a chance due to my love for OPI and Essie but I will definitely purchase this product again in the future!
3. Elizabeth Grant Biocollasis Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense Day Serum - I didn't use this product on my face simply because age defense day serum is not something I need at the moment. However I did squeeze a little bit of the product on my hand and the texture was silky smooth and left my skin feeling hydrated.
Overall Rating: n/a
4. Consonant Organic Body Soap - This product smelled amazing from the moment I opened my Luxe Box. I also loved the packaging, it included a sweet little message and tiny loofah to rest the soap on in the shower. However after trying it I was no longer impressed, the soap just didn't make me feel clean and the amazing scent it once had disappeared once wet :(
Overall Rating: 5/10
5. Hershey Hug - who doesn't love a little chocolate treat? Overall rating 10/10!!
I hope you enjoyed the review of my very first Luxe Box! I've already received my second and will be posting another review soon! In the meantime, order your own and let me know how it is!
My new perfume Love,Chloe is a powdery floral scent perfect for both day and night. Described as chic, sensual and sophisticated the bottle portrays this perfectly with its simple elegance (love the gold chain that attaches the cap to the bottle). One of my girlfriends went crazy for this perfume the other day and told me she couldn't stop smelling me (in a good way!). Although perfume doesn't always smell the same on everyone, I suggest you at least take a sniff of this lovely fragrance the next time you're out shopping.
Those who know me well know I'm a nail polish junkie! These new Essie polishes will be difficult to resist during my next shopping trip! I love, love, love the lavender named Nice is Nice. I wonder who names these polishes, I would love that job!
French Affair (pink), Coat Azure (blue), Nice is Nice (lavender)
Topless and Barefoot (beige), Kisses and Bisses (iridescent), Sand Tropez (pale gray)
