white after labor day?

My friend Tania (and recent birthday girl) brought up the "no white after labor day rule" during her celebratory birthday dinner last week while sporting her favorite white jeans for the very last time this season. So my question is - does the no white after labor day rule still apply OR are rules meant to be broken?

easy breezy

Montreal = slush, puddles and non-stop rain.....why can't it just be spring already!?! This look is so light and playful; a perfect reminder of what's to come in the next season. After a day like today, I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of spring and an easy breezy wardrobe (bye bye coat, mitts, hats, boots, etc)
