style strut snapshots - Le Chateau
I was recently invited to check out Le Chateau's Spring/Summer collection and share some of the great pieces that caught my eye. Before I continue let's state the obvious - I lack an iPhone with everyone's favorite app Instagram but I did manage to snap some photos (with my outdated Blackberry) of some fresh Spring/Summer wardrobe must-haves for every Style Strutter's closet!

In terms of style offering Le Chateau has really come a long way from the store I used to visit before every high school dance - admit it most of you did! They've updated their collections to appeal to a woman seeking key pieces, both classic and trendy, that will last countless seasons.
My favorite finds were the glitter sandals and box clutch which seem to be everywhere this season. Truly the perfect evening clutch; spacious enough to carry everything you need (i.e. cell phone, lip gloss, cards/cash, etc.) yet small and structured that carrying it isn't a hassle and who doesn't love a little sparkle?
Another noteworthy item is the colorful denim. If you're going to give into one trend this summer please brighten up your day with a pair of colorful skinny jeans! Might I add that the fit is amazing!

To the lovers - Enjoy your special day but remember that you don't need a single day to tell someone how much you love them!
To the haters - Do not worry it's just one day, you can do it! Put some Adele on your iPod, have a good cry, indulge in some chocolate that you've likely bought yourself and once you're done pick yourself up and turn your heartbreak into something beautiful! Perhaps not to the extent of Adele and her 6 Grammy wins (how beautiful did she look?!) but anything is possible so mope around all you want but only today!
